This is not an inkjet print. It is produced using liquid chemistry on a thin silver halide layer. The initial capture is a high-resolution file. Darkroom work such as contrast optimization, pushing, vignetting, dodging, burning, and masking are performed with varied software applications before the digital negative is delivered to the wet lab for print processing.
